Diddy faces 120+ abuse lawsuits from 25+ minors

Houston lawyer Tony Buzbee recently announced that he will be filing lawsuits against rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs on behalf of more than 120 plaintiffs, including at least 25 minors. These lawsuits will be filed individually rather than as a class action suit, with Buzbee stating that they aim to expose the enablers who allowed these alleged incidents to occur over the span of 33 years, from 1991 to 2024. The lawyer's office received over 3,000 contacts from individuals, and the number of filings may increase as the vetting process continues. Buzbee plans to file lawsuits in multiple states over the next 30 days.

These new lawsuits add to the at least 12 civil lawsuits that have been filed against Combs in the past year. Federal prosecutors have also mentioned "dozens of victims" in the racketeering and sex trafficking case against Combs. Buzbee alleged that one of the victims was a 9-year-old boy who was sexually abused after auditioning at Combs' Bad Boy Records Studio in New York City.

Combs' attorney, Erica Wolff, has denied the allegations, stating that Combs denies any claims of sexual abuse, including those involving minors. Combs has pleaded not guilty to federal charges, which include engaging in a persistent pattern of abuse towards women and others, as well as participating in sex parties referred to as "freak offs."

The rapper remains behind bars awaiting federal trial and has been denied bail twice. The lawsuits against him are split almost evenly between male and female plaintiffs, with alleged incidents taking place at various events and auditions in different locations. Combs looks forward to proving his innocence in court based on evidence, according to his legal team.
